Computer science is an important, growing part of the STEM field. This is basically a branch of science focused on how computers work, and how we get them to do the things we want them to- including the apps and video games we love so much!
In this unit, you will learn the basics of computer programming, also known as coding, through different online activities. Students will start off using Blockly code and eventually advance to HTML to create their very own website!

Practice coding using Blockly code.

Understand how to navigate Scratch in order to code.

Understand that HTML is one computer programming language used to code websites.
Learn how to use different HTML tags to create headings, paragraphs, lists, and insert images.
Practice coding in Khan Academy.
In this lesson, you will:
Practice coding using HTML.
Determine the steps and materials necessary to teach others how to do a certain skill, talent, or project.
Create your own website.
