Use your device for educational purposes ONLY.
Access school-approved websites.
Use your KUSD email for school purposes only.
Keep your school-issued device clean and free of personal markings like stickers.
Keep your usernames and passwords confidential.
KUSD email accounts are used for educational purposes ONLY.
Don't distract from learning (playing games, off-task browsing)
Don't Violate privacy (sharing passwords, snooping)
Don't bully others or send inappropriate messages
Don't access blocked sites or bypass the district's internet filters.
Use devices in restrooms, locker rooms, or changing areas
Don't use your school email to sign up for non-approved websites or apps.
Account Safety
Keep your KUSD username and password private
Change your password at least once a year, or when directed by your teacher.
Secondary students can change their password at any time using ClassLink.
Internet Filtering
KUSD uses filtering software to block inappropriate content both in school and outside of school.
While filters help protect students, no filter is perfect. Parental supervision is essential when devices are used at home.
If a student accidentally accesses an inappropriate or offensive website, they must exit immediately and notify a staff member.

General school rules for behavior and communications apply, including the district’s harassment policies. Students shall abide by district guidelines governing acceptable use of technology. Misuse of technology may result in loss of access privileges and disciplinary action may be taken. Appropriate legal action may also be taken against students performing illegal activities using technology. For more information regarding Acceptable Use Guidelines please refer to Policy 6633
