One of the greatest honors the battalion has is to present the national and state colors at school and community events. The color guard detachment has this responsibility. The detachment will present the colors at over 20 events per year that range from school athletic events to military functions in Fort Worth. The detachment averages 8-10 in strength. However, there is no limit as to how many cadets can join.
