From the Office
We are finishing up a great week with all of our new Rosemont 6th Grade teachers! They have been working hard to prepare for virtual instruction. On Monday, all of our teachers will be returning to work full time with 100% focus on students and effective virtual instruction. While this year will be challenging, our whole staff is prepared to help our students transition both emotionally and academically back to the school year. With your help and support at home, we will have a great year!
Next week we will be contacting you via phone, email and text regarding schedules, technology and other details. 2020-2021 Online Registration

Device Pickup - In collaboration with FWISD, we are finalizing our plan for device pickup. Please be sure to read or listen to any direct communication from the school, frequently check our website www.fwisd.org/Rosemont6 , and follow our Facebook page for the most up to date information.
Student Passwords - EVERY student in FWISD is required to change their password.
We are continuing to work through the process to distribute Chromebooks and Hotspots. Here are a couple of important things:
Have a FWISD Device From Last Year? - If your student has a working Chromebook from last year, they can continue to use the same device this year.
Need a Device? - If you need a computer or hotspot, please make sure you completed and submitted registration. We will only be able to hand out computers or hotspots to students with complete registration for the 2020-2021 school year at Rosemont 6th.
Have a Personal Device? - Students are able to use a personal device if one is available to engage in virtual learning.

Ms. Beverly Burke
Counselor
Ms. Burke is a FWISD alumni, graduating from Paschal High School. After spending time in the classroom Ms. Burke followed her passion and became a counselor. She has been supporting the Rosemont 6th family for 13 years!
Fun Fact: Ms. Burke has two daughters, nine grandchildren and 17 chickens!
Ms. Jalie Morris
Intervention Specialist
Ms. Morris worked for Tarrant County Juvenile Services before coming to FWISD. She is excited to support the Rosemont students to overcome obstacles, and recognize and achieve their potential.
Fun Fact: Ms. Morris plays ultimate frisbee!
