About Me

My name is Letty Cruz. and this is my 5th year at LMS and my 12th year with the district. I am married to my wonderful best friend of 19 yrs. I have a daughter aged 22 and she is our little medical miracle being born almost 2 months early! It is because of our miracle that I chose to work with children of all ages. My Bachelor's in Social Work from Texas Women's University, prepared me academically; however, God prepared me physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, to grow in my faith, as well as my profession. I have over 40 years of professional experience working with families and children. In 2010, I completed a Masters in Arts in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation, from Abilene Christian University. My life's work and my experience give me a unique edge in working with our LMS students and families. My goal at Leonard is simple: to help any student in need, who may face challenges; academically, socially or emotionally, and give them the support they need to succeed!
