This is Hannah Trevino's sixth year in FWISD and her fourth year as Head Band Director of the Leonard Longhorn Band. Her duties include teaching and conducting the Honor Band, assisting the Concert Band, and teaching beginning band classes. Mrs. Trevino received her Bachelor of Music Education and Teaching Certificate from West Texas A&M University in 2020. While at WT, she played flute and piccolo for the Symphonic Band, flute choir, participated in the West Texas A&M Marching Band, and was a member of Tau Beta Sigma and Mu Phi Epsilon.
Prior to coming to Leonard, Mrs. Trevino was the Assistant Band Director at Western Hills High School in FWISD. While there, her ensemble earned Sweepstakes at the 2022 UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest. She also assisted at Leonard where she taught the Concert Band for one year and taught beginning flute and clarinet class for two years. She also assisted the Symphonic Band with their Sweepstakes for UIL Concert and Sightreading. She also helped raise the individual and produced All-District level players. Since her time here, her bands have achieved Superior and Excellent ratings at contest along with numerous Outstanding Soloist awards.
Away from teaching, Mrs. Trevino enjoys hiking, reading books, crocheting, and discovering places to eat. She currently resides in Fort Worth with her husband (another FWISD Band Director) and four dogs!
