Mission statement

The mission of the Leonard Band Program is to provide all students with a high‑quality, inclusive music education that builds strong foundational musicianship skills. Through participation in band, students will develop music literacy, proper instrument technique, listening and ensemble skills, problem‑solving abilities, self‑discipline, teamwork, and confidence, while fostering creativity, responsibility, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
