Allison Whiddon

Ms. Whiddon graduated from Abilene Christian University in December of 2020 with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree. During her time at ACU, Ms. Whiddon performed in multiple ensembles, including the ACU Big Purple Marching Band, the ACU Wind Ensemble, and the Civic Orchestra of Abilene. She was given the opportunity to perform as a member of the Intercollegiate Honor Band at the Collegiate Band Directors National Association in Norman, Oklahoma in 2020, and performed at TMEA twice during her college career. She was also an active performer in many other ensembles around the Abilene Community. 

Ms. Whiddon completed her clinical teaching semester at Wylie High School and Wylie West Junior High School in Abilene, Texas. She has many years of  experience teaching private horn lessons in the Abilene area, and also acted as the Interim Orchestra Director at Madison Middle School for part of the Spring 2021 semester. 

In her free time, Ms. Whiddon enjoys reading, watching movies, hiking with her family, and spending time with her nephews and her dog, Java.
