Prerequisite: Passed Art 1 

Course Overview: Students will continue to explore the Elements and Principles of Art and Design as they work on projects using various art materials such as drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography, design, and more. Students are encouraged to explore their own individual ideas in each assignment while also working on learning technical processes and skills. Students will work preparing a portfolio of their work and get to experience self and peer critique processes to help them reflect and grow as artists. 

Prerequisites: Passed Art 1 and Art 2 

Course Overview: This course is for 8th grade students only who are interested in continuing to further their artistic abilities. Students continue to explore various art materials, techniques, and the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Students are encouraged to push their ideas and take risks in their artwork as they are given more freedom to choose how they are showing mastery of lesson objectives. This course aims to prepare students for the high school art program, and also will enable them to build a portfolio of their artwork.
