Touch systems enable students to develop data entry skills by learning hand, finger, and keyboard placement. The data entry skills built-in touch systems are developed over the year as students complete assignments over the history of hardware and software which includes learning about phones, gaming, and artifice intelligence.
GES enables students to learn about and explore their interests as it relate to future independence through employment. Time spent in the classroom will focus on integrative hands-on activities such as game development, drone flying (aeronautics), and coding robots. Students will have the opportunity to explore schools of choice, colleges around the world, and scholarship opportunities. Students enrolled in college and career readiness are better prepared to excel when applying for college since students will know how to market themselves via an e-Portfolio made in class detailing student achievements.
Students will use appropriate technology and/or assigned materials to develop an understanding of the evolution of the arts, audio/video technology, and communications career field, including the history, foundation elements, principles, and communicative effects. Students will also use diagrams, illustrations, text, and/or examples to explain and demonstrate knowledge of the communication process, demonstrate knowledge of the components of the listening process, and demonstrate knowledge of various communication processes in professional contexts. Students will demonstrate their understanding of unit topics and appropriate interpersonal communication strategies in brief presentations, professional context and occupational task scenarios, and/or in other classroom activities.
