Hello, Lions!

My name is Kendra Bowie and I am super excited to be your art teacher at Como Elementary School! This will be my third year of teaching at Como. I have the best job in the world; teaching and inspiring my students about the importance of art, the history of art, and learning to express yourself in a creative way! I grew up in Austin, TX and although I loved making art at a very young age my 6^th grade art teacher, Mrs. Welch, was my most inspiring teacher. Art has always been my favorite subject.

I have a son (and soon to be daughter in law with a wedding in 2020!), a daughter and a Shih Tzu named Hank! I really enjoy watching sports, hanging out with my friends, and spending time with family.

Hey everyone!

I’m Coach Goodman and I will be your Physical Education teacher this year. I know typically we are in the gym listening to Music and playing games. Unfortunately, this year due to COVID-19 we are not allowed to be in the gym at the start of school this year. However, we will return ad we will have a blast out in the gym. For now, we will do some activities virtually. Games, activities, and health lessons that you and the entire family can do together. I look forward to sending you out these lessons so stay tuned!!
