Hi! My name is Jennifer Jones. I was born and raised in Austin, TX but couldn’t wait to move to the Fort Worth area.
I am a lifelong Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Lakers fan.
I am a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University, GO PANTHERS.
This is my 24th year in education and all 24 years have been here at Como Elementary. “GO LIONS!
I have a daughter, Cameron, and I am an aunt to 10 nieces/nephews and 5 great-nieces/nephews.
I love to travel, beaches and mountains being my favorite views.

HELLO!!! My name is Cara McKnight and I am extremely excited about working with you this year. I have been blessed to not only be apart of the Como Community, but to be able to give back to the Community what was sowed into me by teaching here at The Leadership Academy at Como Elementary. I'm extremely excited because we are going to do so many fun things this year and of course we will learn a lot also. I can't wait to hear some of the awesome things you did during our time apart.

Welcome to another terrific year of learning!
I am excited to begin my 19th year of teaching and my 3rd year at Como. A graduate of the University of Maryland, I have taught kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, 5th grades and Adult Education. My husband and I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and traveling. We have three adult children that live in Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
I look forward to seeing your smiling faces online soon, and I hope you and your families are safe and healthy. This year will definitely be challenging, but I know we can do this. Please communicate regularly with me and let me know if you are having any difficulties. Together, we can make this a fun and successful year!
