they all expect you to be straight

not bendy

they all expect you to be bleak

not colourful

they all expect you to think inside the box

and not be yourself

Why do people think this way?

we are people too

we deserve to love who we love

we deserve to be the gender we want to be

we are people too

we have the right to speak up

to show up 

to be loud 

we are people too

to all the girls, bipoc people, queer gay and trans

please help me fight

for the world we all deserve to live in

because 

because we are people too
