Mission

The TDSB Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) Network is a space for Two Spirit, Trans, Non-binary, and Queer students, staff, and their allies in the TDSB to find community and resources.

The TDSB GSA Network works from an intersectional perspective. Our meetings, materials, and actions centre students who face multiple forms of oppression. We strive to create safer spaces which are not only free of queerphobia, transphobia, cissexism, and heterosexism but free of all oppression including racism, sexism, ableism, classism, and discrimination based on faith. The TDSB GSA Network celebrates the identities of all of its 2SLGBTQIAP+ staff and students, particularly those who are Indigenous, Black, racialized, disabled, trans, non-binary, and women.

The TDSB GSA Network supports the right of 2SLGBTQIAP+ staff and students to an educational environment that supports, and celebrates two-spirit, trans, non-binary, and queer people, and we advocate for changes to bring this world into being.
