Scanning using your iPad, iPhone, or Android device

You can scan a selection of text (for example, a portion of a book) using the camera of your mobile device..

To do this, you must install the app "Google Keep".

Once installed, you can use the camera, take a picture, and Google Keep will extract the text from that picture. At that point, you can copy the text or email it.
