Resetting student passwords - student can choose new password

Note: You must be on the TDSB network to reset a student password.

• log in to a computer as yourself
• on the Desktop, open up the folder "Toronto District Secondary School"
• in this folder, open the link "LAS-Local Admin System"
• click Start, and select "Toronto District Elementary School, 3757"
• in the menu on the left, click on "Acct Admin Mgmt"
• select each student on the left and click the "Select" button in the center
• when you are finished selecting students, click on "Change password" in the bottom table
• click on the "Change password" button at the bottom
• Set a temporary password for the students, for example, Section23
• Log out of the computer
• Log back in to the computer using the student number and temporary password
• Change the student's password to something easy for the student to remember (for example, Student1)
