If nothing is displaying on your screen:

- Check the VGA cable (the monitor cable) that connects the laptop to the board.
- Make sure the laptop is duplicating the display (sending it to both the monitor and the Promethean board):
- On some laptops, you can set the display by pressing F8. On other laptops, F4. One of those keys should open the display settings as shown below. Select Duplicate.

- Check the on/off button at the left side of the board. This button should be green. If it is red, push it.
- Check the USB cable connecting the laptop to the board. Try plugging the USB cable into a different port of the laptop. (Note: this often works)
