School libraries extend far beyond a space to just store and check in and out books! Library Learning Commons or LLC's are a centralized hub of activity. LLC's are responsive, flexible, innovative, collaborative and student-centred learning spaces! An LLC is a place to support inquiry in students and meet, wonder, ask, find, create and share!

The LLC space is designed to accommodate the learning needs of all staff and students. It's a student-friendly, inclusive, safe and inviting atmosphere! All are welcome. The LLC supports and extends learning in the classroom through teaching partnerships, recreational reading programs and activities, or Makerspace/Laboratoire de Fabrication and inquiry/STEAM based learning and making.
