SEA Claims

A SEA Claim is special equipment from the Ministry of Education intended to support qualifying students with an IEP.

The goal of special equipment is to allow students to use assistive technology as an effective teaching/learning tool in the classroom.

This equipment is to provide students with accommodations that are directly required and essential for one or more of the following: attending school, accessing the Ontario curriculum or supporting a board-determined alternative program and/or course. 

Students' SEA claim technology will be distributed according to their IEP. Please ask your students teacher or Special Education Department Head for more information.
