Project Dreams

Our first project was selling a product that originated from the Ojibwe people: the Dream Catchers. The Ojibwe are one of the largest First Nation groups in North America. These Dream Catchers, which were created by us, were the center and the focus of our initiative. They represented a small, but important part of Ojibwe tradition, often handcrafted and used to trap nightmares and give the owner good dreams. Along with the Dream Catchers, we also distributed tags which further explained our vision and mission and where all the revenue went: an organization offering support to Aboriginal Canadians.

Our Vision

Our vision is for all Canadian residents to be educated about Aboriginal Canadians in the same way we are educated about our heritage and culture. In order to fight ignorance and prejudice against Aboriginal Canadians, we encourage the awareness of their beautiful traditions, their respectful culture and a heritage embedded deeper than any other in the Canadian soil. Our initiatives focused on providing insight into the Aboriginal lifestyle, history, and rights, which will hopefully lead to a more accepting and knowledgeable society.
