Greenwood's department for English Language Learners (ELL) offers a range of courses from Ontario’s Secondary English as a Second Language and English Literacy Development Curriculum. Students will either take ELD A, ELD B, ESL A, ESL B, ESL C, ESL D or ESL E, depending on their proficiency in English reading, writing and oral language skills, and the extent to which they have had the opportunity to develop first language literacy skills.
