The library is available for all classes to learn and practise inquiry skills. Students have access to fiction and non-fiction books that have been selected with English Language Learners in mind. Students use chrome books and desktop computers for digital resources and presentation tools and receive orientation to the TDSB's Virtual Library .
The library is also open before school, at lunch time, and after school for book exchange, homework help, peer tutoring, computer and printer use, quiet games and socializing. Come and learn about how to get a card for the Toronto Public Library to access one of the best collection of books in the world!
Students, as well as parents and guardians, may sign out books from the Greenwood library to take home and read. We have reading material for your whole family, including picture books for younger brothers and sisters. Our shelf of books in Greenwood's home languages is growing and we LOVE recommendations for new titles.
