This organization has a GREAT opportunity for teachers, students, and parents to learn about a post-secondary financial assistance program called the Canada Learning Bond.
The Canada Learning Bond is money that the Government of Canada adds to a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) to help pay the costs of full or part-time studies after high school for low-income families. Students may be eligible to receive up to $2000.00 CAD from the CLB that get deposited into their RESP account. It is a great tool for students to have access to post-secondary education, as it sets them up for success.
They are hosting FREE virtual CLB information Webinars every month via Zoom, which covers what the Canada Learning Bond is and how you can be eligible for it. In addition, they will cover how you will receive a $25.00 CAD e-gift card sign up bonus once you apply for the CLB.
If you are not registered yet, join them for any of our webinars this month:

The University Pathways Program is a collaboration between three Canadian business schools -- Ivey Business School at Western University, Schulich School of Business at York University, and Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. It is designed to support self-identified Black students in their post-secondary academic journeys, as a way to address the significant under-representation of Black students in Canadian university enrolment, including in business schools.

Language Requirements
Rule of Thumb: If you did NOT begin your Grade 9 studies in Canada, you should check the language requirements of the universities/colleges you are applying to.
Each university and college will have very detailed guidelines and requirements on their website. Please check.
