Students are encouraged to explore occupations as early as possible. A good starting point is the Career Spectrum assessment in myBlueprint. This will provide some occupation ideas to start your research. It will also connect with your high school and post-secondary plans to help you find matches that fit your interests. No career test is perfect, but it is a great place to start your search.
All Grade 10 students are required to take the Career Studies course (GLC2O1). This is a graduation requirement and guides students through a four step inquiry (Who Am I? What's out there for me? What should I choose? How Will I Get There?).
