CCA Admission Criteria

Please use the below eligibility flowchart to check if you are eligible to apply to the CCA program.

To register you must:

Be at least 21 years of age OR if you are between 18-20 years old, you must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Have a grade 10 English credit with at least 65%, or assess at a grade 11 English level in the BALC English assessment
Pass an interview with a Burnhamthorpe Staff member
Show proof of Canadian citizenship or residency status OR Convention Refugee Status + Study Permit or proof of application for a study permit
Be able to get a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening from police
Be able to get a physician to fill out medical forms
Have at least double vaccination against COVID 19
