Click the + symbol to add pages.
Click the + symbol to add pages.
- Name the Page
- Click the 3 dots to edit page name, make it home page, or remove it.
- Pages can be reordered by dragging and dropping.
- Pages can be nested under another page by dropping on top of the parent page.
- Nested pages indented under their parent page
- Rearranged page order is reflected in the Navigation Menu

- You can create a subpage by clicking the 3 dots next to a page and selecting "create Subpage"
- Once a page has been added, you can adjust the navigation by dragging & dropping.
- Page Heirarchy- New Google Sites allows for up to 5 levels of nesting pages
- Pages with nested pages under them will have a triangle that opens the nested pages when clicked

Insert a Link to an External Site
To add a custom Link to External Site:
- Go to "Pages" menu
- Click the + and choose 'New link'
- Type the name you want people to see next to 'Name'
- Paste the complete URL next to 'link'
- The link will appear in the menu, and clicking it will go to the external site.
