Emotional wellness is becoming more aware of the feelings and emotions we feel every day, and learning how to cope with the challenges life brings. Both positive and negative emotions are important parts of yourself, but understanding and accepting them can be difficult. Having the tools you need to be able to handle the ups and downs of life can start with finding support in family and friends, but it can also include support from TCNJ.
Penn Medicine Princeton Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Princeton EAP provides a broad range of services to assist faculty, staff, and their family in balancing work and the stresses of daily life. These services include counseling services and monthly webinars on topics ranging from finances to retirement.
Mental Health Services (MHS): While services are only available for students, check out their self-help page for additional resources
There are additional mental and emotional health and wellness resources available on campus and online, to help you find your emotional balance again in an intentional and purposeful way. MHS offers the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) training upon request.
