Introduction
There are 2 classes in each grade of this course, which focuses on basic education related to the clothing industry. We place a strong emphasis on enhancing the quality of students’ talents as they pertain to the clothing industry. In addition to helping students obtain certificates in various skills, we also actively guide students to further their studies so that they can pursue an advanced career. With respect to learning and research, our courses integrate tradition and innovation with theme-based teaching. As such, we are committed to the sustainable management and development of traditional skills and local culture. This involves making good use of local cultures to teach students about dyeing and weaving. We also integrate art and humanistic aesthetics into our courses. By nurturing students’ sense of art and beauty, we aim to cultivate high-quality and creative students.
Educational Objectives

Curriculum
General subjects: languages, mathematics, social studies, natural sciences, arts, integrated activities, technology, health and physical education, and national defense.
Specialized subjects
First year: Introduction to home economics, introduction to color, beauty practice, multi-media creation practice, clothing production practice, basic sewing
Second year: Jewelry design and practice, apparel painting practice, three-dimensional tailoring practice, advanced dressmaking practice, and basic sewing, Introduction to special topics, advanced sewing
Third year: fashion design practice, fashion materials, project practice, fashion aesthetics, digital media design and application, dyeing and weaving techniques, dress pattern design, product planning
Future Prospects
1.Further education
(1) Enrollment in the second year of a technical college or university to advance to higher professional education, such as fashion design, textile design, fashion design management, apparel distribution, and applied lifestyle apparel.
(2) Students can enter a technical college or a general university offering professional training, such as the Department of Fashion Design and the Department of Fashion Business Management of Shih Chien University, via the recommendation admissions exam.
(3) The Stars Project offers students the possibility of admission to Universities of Science and Technology, which offer training in professional skills, via the National Household Arts Competition, the National Clothing Skills Competition, and the Women's Clothing Certification.
2. Employment in the workplace
(1) National examination: all levels of government and public institutions, as technicians or related instructors.
(2) Professional application: Garment pattern making, garment production, garment design assistant, fabric design assistant, marker layout assistant, computer layout assistant, shape design, garment marketing, garment creation, garment modeling, exhibition and sales personnel, wedding planner, theater costume designer, and so on.

(3) Self-employment: personal clothing studio, overall styling studio, clothing modification studio, retail clothing, professional laundry and ironing.
