Introduction

To train professionals in the field of infant and childcare by teaching courses that provide professional knowledge and basic skills in childcare.

Educational objectives

1. To enable students to obtain basic knowledge about the physical and mental development of infants and toddlers.

2. To provide students with the ability to design teaching and care activities to meet the physical and mental developmental needs of infants and toddlers.

3. To help students learn skills related to the provision of childcare activities.

5. To develop a compassionate outlook and to lay the foundation for lifelong learning and career planning.

Curriculum

1.Professional courses.

Year 1: Infant and childcare, introduction to childcare and education

Year 2: Infant activity design, teaching aids design and production, picture board games, infant drama, infant meal design, instrumental music, and other courses.

Year 3: Child meal preparation, special project, use of computer media, use of 3D design, etc.

2.Regular technical competitions and professional training activities: storytelling, teaching aids production, creative puppets, body movement, etc.

3.Both theory and practice are emphasized: 2nd graders will attend preschools for internship and trial teaching.

Future Prospects

1. Further education: Students can choose to enroll in undergraduate courses at a general university or a four-year technical college, such as early childhood care, early childhood education and child welfare, social work, child welfare, elderly service business management, physical therapy, nursing, health and beauty, tourism, health and leisure management, and other subjects.
