Enrolling in Gr. 11 University/College Drama shows a commitment to studying the arts. Students learn to take responsibility for larger productions. This includes directing, stage managing, and promoting various shows. Students also research different dramatic theories and techniques, learn more about the history of drama, and explore the fundamentals of stage combat and physical comedy.

Trip = Obsidian Theatre
This course requires students to create and perform in dramatic presentations. Students
will analyse, interpret, and perform dramatic works from various cultures and time
periods. Students will research various acting styles and conventions that could be
used in their presentations, and analyse the functions of playwrights, directors, actors,
designers, technicians, and audiences.
Prerequisite: Drama, Grade 9 or 10, Open
