This page is an instructional page. All course selections will be completed on my blueprint.
As a grade 10 student, you MUST select THREE mandatory courses: (select appropriate level) ENGLISH ENG 3UE / NBE3U1 / NBE3C1 / ENG3E1
MATHEMATICS MCR3UE /MCR3U1 / MCF3M1 / MBF 3C1 / MEL 3E1
RELIGION HRT3MP / HRT3M1 / HRF 3O1
In Grade Ten, students MUST select FIVE optional credits of their choice.
These may include Co-operative Education (COP2X or COP3X).
Students in the Regional Arts Program (RAP) MUST also select the appropriate TWO RAP courses as part of their five options.
Important Notes
● MYBLUEPRINT will ask you to provide TWO ALTERNATE CHOICES. Your alternate choices will be considered in the event that we cannot accommodate your first requests.
● If you plan to take a course in summer school, do NOT include the course in your course selections in myBlueprint. Please note your summer school intentions in the notes.
● A student entering grade 11 may select a grade 12 option if he/she has the recommended background. However, FIRST PRIORITY will be given to grade 12 students.
● All grade 11 students, regardless of summer school credit, must carry a full load of 8 credits.
● Grade 11 is an important year, particularly as it pertains to post-secondary planning. Plan backwards by considering what courses you will require in Grade 12 for the post-secondary program of interest and make sure you take the pre-requisite courses in Grade 11.
● Generally, if you have been studying at the applied level, you should select Open, College or Mixed level courses. If you’ve been studying at the Academic level, you should select Open, Mixed or University level courses. If you have questions or concerns about the level of study you should be choosing, please speak to your teachers and/or your Guidance counselor.
● If a student wants to be removed from RAP or CAP, it is a process that requires approval. Please contact your Guidance Counsellor.
● Submission due date: February 27 2025.
