COLLEGE

· Apply by February 1st 2026 deadline. As long as there is room in a program, you can apply later too but that is ONLY if there is still space.)
· Cost to apply: $125 for 5 program choices (no more than 3 at any one college)
You will need:
30 credits (including courses required for admission to your program of choice)
To pass the OSSLT
40 hours of community service
2 online courses or completed opt out form

If you are GRADUATING in June 2026, it is imperative that you take the time in the next couple of months to begin researching your post-secondary options. This will help you make an informed choice!
As you do your research, record key dates into your individual calendars so that you do not miss important deadlines.

Starting on September 22, representatives from Ontario’s colleges will be kicking off the College Information Program (CIP) tour – a six-week tour with 39 stops across the province. Including one near you.

Online application opens October 10 2025
Key college application dates include:
November 1, 2025: Earliest Offer Date
This is the earliest date that colleges may begin to send offers of admission to programs for the upcoming academic year. Offers will continue to be issued until programs are filled or wait-lists are established.
February 1, 2026: Equal Consideration Date
Apply on or before this date in order to receive equal consideration for admission to programs starting the following fall. After this date, colleges consider applicants on a first-come, first-served basis until programs are full.
Note that applications to Highly Competitive Programs must be received by this date in order to be considered.

This program will financially assist students living in Ontario, who plan to attend an approved school.
SCHOLARSHIPS /BURSARIES

Entrance Scholarship – automatic, based on marks
University/College Scholarships/Bursaries – require supplementary applications
Community Scholarships/Bursaries – require supplementary applications

www.millenniumscholarships.ca (Loran Awards)
The Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation provides over $100 million in awards to more than 35,000 Ontario students per year.
The Garfield Weston Merit Scholarship for Colleges - up to 80 awards ranging from $1,000-$27,000, based on aptitude for field of study, leadership potential and community involvement for students applying to college.
The Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top tuition scholarships – awards of up to $3,500 per year, renewable for up to four years. These scholarships aid students who earn top marks but require financial assistance.
