The participant may be discontinued from the study at any time if the participant or the investigator feels that it is not in the subject’s best interest to continue. The following is a list of possible reasons for study treatment discontinuation:
Screening failure
Subject withdrawal of consent
Subject is not compliant with study procedures (does not complete menstrual cycle charting 4 days in a row or attend x 2 physiotherapy appointments without explanation)
Adverse event that in the opinion of the investigator would be in the best interest of the subject to discontinue study participation
Lost to follow-up.
Participant illness
Further musculoskeletal injury disabling them from attending rehabilitation
Participants cannot do any lower limb loading/resistance training outside of the physiotherapy programme.
Participants can be advised they may complete general cardiovascular exercise including walking, ergo, light cycling and swimming, along with neuromuscular control, core strength and upper limb training outside of their scheduled physiotherapy sessions.
