Bio: Anisa Bora is currently a Computing in Education MA student in the Communication, Media, and Learning Technologies Design program at Teachers College, Columbia University. She previously held various roles in education, including serving as a curriculum designer and educator for informal STEM education programs, as well as a project manager for an education nonprofit. Her interests include curriculum and product design, inclusive teaching, and applications of augmented reality in education. She received a BA in Chemistry from UC Berkeley.
Bio: Grace J. Choi is a Computing in Education MA student within the Communication, Media, and Learning Technologies Design Program at Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as a higher education manager and administrator. She comes from a museum background, and her research interests include YPAR, critical race literacy, and pedagogical methodologies in museums, historical societies and heritage sites.
Bio: Thomonique Moore is an educational technologist and learning designer in the Learning Science Lab at NYU Stern. Passionate about education equity, critical digital literacy, and student-centered design, she is interested in the use of digital tools and media-making for enhancing culturally responsive pedagogies and learning experiences for students and educators. She holds an MA in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BBA in Information Systems from Howard University.
Bio: Rongwei Tang is a first-year doctoral student at the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Prior to HSJMC, Rongwei received her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Fudan University (2020) and earned her Master of Arts in Anthropology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University (2022). She is interested in media literacy, misinformation, and health communication. Her current research explores how to debunk misinformation and investigate strategies to help people improve their media literacy.
Bio: Claire Zheng is an instructional designer at TE Connectivity. She is interested in researching how social organizations such as schools and corporations change under the impact of new media and technologies. She earns a MA in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College, Columbia University and a BS in Public Relations from Syracuse University.
