Springs

What are springs? Spring is a place where water moving underground finds an opening to the land surface, sometimes as just a trickle, maybe only after a rain, and sometimes in a continuous flow.

Or spring is formed when the water reaches the surface through a fracture or porous layer. These types of springs usually occur along faults (a fracture in the earth), or in areas of great topographic relief such as cliffs or valleys.

the SIMPLE version

It is an underwater river that runs underground. It fills a hole in the land and it is sometimes hot if lava is near it. You can find this everywhere in the world.
