Beau miles challenge

Planning towards this challenge

Below is my list and where I will be running for this challenge. I am deciding to do the harder one which is 21km, so in the first image it is 1.5km from my house so when I get home that will be 3km and then in the second image that is 1km away so when I get back home I will have done 2km.

I will be getting my mum or brother to video me while i am running .

Reflection : I started at 7am and finished at 3 pm. Starting at 7am had some costs, me being me I didn't want to run with heaps of clothes on so i toughed it out which was a bad idea, my joints were all frozen so you could imagine my legs weren't moving as they are supposed to. 8am came around quickly. I can remember being ready to run but I soon found out that the shoes I was wearing weren't doing any good for my knees so I was running 21km with bad shoes. After a couple runs had gone I was feeling good, I had completed a lot of my tasks and completed a lot of km. Coming to the end of the run I felt like I could be doing this all day. As you can see at the bottom images and videos there is one of me coming back from my last run, I decided to run 4km for the end to get it over and done with ( Bad Idea ). In the last km I had the worst cramp in my stomach so I was running sideways. Anyway A really good bit about doing the Beau Miles challenge for me is finding out how much you complete in a day. Also It has given me a reason to actually go for a run. Lastly this was really good for me as I kind of said before I got to learn or complete things I wouldn't have done in just my own time. The bad bits. One bad bit for me was when I ran at 7 o'clock with the wrong shoes on that made my knees sore and uncomfortable. Another bad thing that I did that made this challenge hard for me was, I didn't have a plan for when I am going to do my list and what. Lastly just running constantly, even though that is the point of the challenge it was still very hard. Even though I didn't complete a lot of my list I think I can still say this was overall really exciting to do and participate.


This is my final list, I wasn't able to complete every-task because. Time flew, I didn't realise how quick it comes around. At the bottom is the pictures of me running.
