Regional Practicums are two-day training workshops designed to bring together Teaching Artists from programs across specific regions of the United States. Participants have the opportunity to hear from guest lecturers, see a local music program in action, and engage in peer-to-peer teaching observations.
Practicums are not your typical professional development conference. They are designed to be highly interactive, with the majority of time spent in discussion groups, workshopping ideas, problem-solving challenges, and interacting with peers. Practicums are also an excellent opportunity to meet Cohort members from your region in person! Plus, all current Cohort members receive 1 free registration!
Attending a Regional Practicum is strongly encouraged for all Cohort members. Click on your region below to learn more and register!
