Once you've built your skills in concert band, you can continue into our advanced ensemble for wind players and percussionists, Symphonic Band. 

We ramp up the expectations here, tackling challenging music that will expose you to art music from a variety of perspectives. You’ll need to demonstrate a firm handle on a number of advanced theoretical topics, an understanding of history, and musicianship skills. 

You’ll be challenged to grow with our guest artists, who you’ll meet with on a regular basis. This is an outstanding ensemble that will push your musicianship to new levels. 

We perform a number of times throughout the year, including our semester concerts, the homecoming game, and special events.
