Did you play a wind instrument or percussion in middle school or your previous high school? If so, Concert Band can be your new community here on campus! We explore a variety of music as well as listen to and study music from classical genres, world music, and beyond. 

This course dives into technique, ear training, music theory, reading skills, and music history. You'll work with our guest artists to build your musicianship. We perform at a number of events during the school year, including semester concerts and at the homecoming game. Concert Band is open to all students 9th-12th grade. 

If you're looking for even more music, you're eligible, and you should, concurrently enroll in our Jazz Band, which meets after school. 

You can stay in Concert Band all four years, but many students build skills and move into Symphonic Band after 1-2 years.
