Create task - research St John and why Mac wanted to fundraise to buy them more ambulances.
Tuesday - page 5
Create task - using a map of New Zealand on Google Drawings, and Google Maps, mark out where Mac and his dad would ride each day (assuming they rode 80km) and find out where they could stay along the way.
Wednesday
Page 6 and 7
Create task - Create a list or picture mind map of all the things Mac and his dad would need for their trip. Remember they didn’t have a car with them - they had to carry everything they needed on their bikes, or buy it on the way.
Thursday
Page 8 and 9
Create task - Using your map created on Tuesday, add in a picture of what Mac would have seen each day. For example, the picture on page 8 could be put next to the Pureora Forest.
Friday
Pages 10 and 11
Create task - Research the 3 different kinds of bikes. Create a labelled Google Drawing explaining the difference between the 3 and what you would use them for.
