Welcome to Level 2 Geography! 

Geography is the study of the earth and how people interact with it. You should take it if you’re interested in the world and curious about why certain things are the way they are. 

In this course, you will: conduct research into the location of an ice cream shop in the North Shore, study the actions and perspectives of Ihumatao, examine the pattern Hip Hop around the world, and explain why that pattern exists; study the features of the Amazon Basin and how people interact with this large natural environment; study the differences in development between New Zealand and India and explain why these differences exist. 

The course involves lots of writing, but also fieldwork (practical research), drawing and graphing.
