Therapy is a space for you to explore yourself, your patterns, and your thoughts to build a deeper understanding. In therapy, we can process past trauma or situations that have caused harm, learn how to express emotion and practice, to have a listening and empathetic ear, and create a healthy relationship with yourself. Therapy is what you want it to be! Please view the policies & agreements page to understand my philosophy for clients and myself before starting!
Yes and no. For insurance purposes, I have to provide a diagnosis in order for your sessions to be covered. But, I don't strongly believe in diagnoses because their creation has largely been centered on whiteness and often are highly stigmatized, making them unhelpful to share and sometime disruptive to our process. Often, I will not disclose the diagnosis I have provided insurance with to you, but sometimes it is important to clients to know, as it brings them a sense of community and not-alone-ness. I am happy to discuss this with you and see what makes you feel most comfortable!
Coaching is a skill-based relationship. As a coach, I teach you skills and am in a more directive role. In sessions, we will take time to both introduce the skills and practice them together. Additional sessions outside of specific skill-focused ones are to have additional practice and to problem-solve the skills if they don't seem to be working the ways you want them to.
That's up to you! I am here to help you in whatever you want help with. It doesn't have to be a "big" issue for you to benefit from therapy. Therapy can be a space for self-growth, as well as processing issues you might be facing.
Nope! This is a collaborative relationship where we discover the path that is best for you together!
I can do both! We can always change it up as needed. Though for Utah clients, I can only provide telehealth services.
Please cancel with at least a 24-hour notice to avoid the $100 cancellation fee. Clients will be charged for no show appointments as well. To see more about this, please check out the policies & agreements page.

Yes! There is a small lot for the building (all of the uncovered parking spots are available for clients), as well as street parking. There is additional parking behind the building, which are the spots that are above the covered spots in the building parking lot. You can access those spots from the alleyway around the corner from the building. All parking is free.
