The purpose of the 13th Year Plan Financing Assignment is to ensure that all seniors in Washington get information about financing their plans for after high school, including financial aid, before they graduate. All Washington high school graduates must document that they have received financial aid information as part of the High School & Beyond Plan requirement. Not all seniors will need to access financial aid for their 13th year plans, but they may need to access financial aid later for education or training. This includes people entering apprenticeships, trades, and the military.
