Senior Presentation

Purpose

The Senior Presentation is the culmination of STEP and the opportunity to tell others about your 13th year plans. In your presentation, you will explain and defend your post high school plan, convincing your audience that you have the skills and strategies needed to embark on it.

Date

Senior Presentations are scheduled for Thursday, May 22. All seniors are expected to report to THS between noon and 12:15. Presentations will start at 12:30 and will end around 2:30. Students are required to stay until all presentations in their panel are finished. There are usually 6-8 students per group. Panels and room assignments will be posted May 20 or 21

Students who will be out of town the day of presentations, or who will be at state tournaments, will present on a different day. See Ms. Caughill in the Future Ready Center to sign up for make-ups.

Running Start students who have classes on the afternoon of May 22 may present on April 30, which is Green River Advising Day, so they won't miss any Running Start classes. Details about this will be shared with students in the SDL class at the beginning of spring quarter.

Assignment

Students must complete and earn a passing grade on required STEP assignments before they can be scheduled to do their Senior Presentation. These assignments are: 13th Year Plan, Financing 13th Year, Future Career, Resume, and 13th Year Evidence.
