Wind Ensemble offers a comprehensive performance experience for advanced instrumentalists. Admission is based on director evaluation or invitation, with an expected proficiency level of a 3rd to 4th-year instrumentalist.
While private lessons are not required, they are highly recommended to enhance skill development and overall proficiency. Students will rehearse and perform advanced-level band repertoire in a structured setting.
This is a graded course with outside assignments, required concerts, and daily practice expectations. Students must attend the final four rehearsals leading up to a performance.
Students must provide their own instrument, instrument supplies, and pencils. Music will be loaned to students each semester and must be returned in excellent condition.
