Drawing & Design

This class is created to continue the art education from Drawing III as well as a foundational art class for new students ages 12 through 18. It is a year-long course. We will be learning the basic elements of design, (line, shape, color, texture, etc.), as well as the advanced principles of design, (balance, proportion, perspective, harmony, etc.). Students will be exploring many types of mediums, but the heaviest emphasis will be in drawing. Weekly homework will be assigned. There will be a gallery night in the spring semester where attendance will be mandatory.
