Check in every day!
Hey! It's already week 5: November 1-5. This week let's:
do some more poetry,
practice interviewing and having great conversations,
do some review of basic grammar (simple past, especially with questions),
Interview someone from Tacoma Community House, and
have a talk time with guests on Thursday.
Here's a favorite poem of mine, and a picture of how I spent some of my time this weekend.
Autumn Fires
by
Robert Louis Stevenson
In the other gardens
And all up the vale,
From the autumn bonfires
See the smoke trail!
Pleasant summer over
And all the summer flowers,
The red fire blazes,
The grey smoke towers.
Sing a song of seasons!
Something bright in all!
Flowers in the summer,
Fires in the fall!
