This piece shows many strong expressions with feelings that are clear to see. For example, you can see fear and anger in these, which is a strong expression relating to expressive portraiture. In this piece, I am trying to communicate the use of expressions and colours. The background of the work has more simple colours, some of the etchings are printed on black paper, whereas at the front of this work, they have colour and are painted, which makes them bolder and gives the impression of shadows. I think many artists influenced me, but mainly Yue Minjun. His work influenced me because he has the same idea of using many faces with a disturbed expression.
