Starting 2026, ALL Harker World Cultures students will be representing the world united! Each homeroom voted on topics from across the globe, researched and created projects in an inquiry based lesson. Together the community will search for the 7 Elements of Culture through the creative work of all Harker Students!
Harker's Multicultural Night returned for the first time since 2020 this year on May 30, 2024. An incredible display of community, a way for all of our Multilingual Learners and Gifted and Talented Students to display their heritage, culture, and to learn from one another. Thanks to a PRIDE Grant from the SWEA, students in Gifted and Talented had lessons in Bollywood dancing through the Community Bollywood Project, based right here in Swedesboro.
Students and Mrs. Tatam performed on stage for the crowd as they enjoyed a taste of the world at various student and family created displays. Families brought in food, memorabilia, and everything culture. Many of our students dressed for the occasion as well, proudly representing their culture!
Students were given a passport to be stamped as they went through all of the stations and visited as many countries as they could!
