Welcome to Italy, as Italian language will be explored by focusing on the seven elements of culture as the apply to Italy. Each grade level will be introduced to seven different elements of culture in addition to continuing to learn to locate the 7 continents and 5 oceans! They will learn about Italian and European culture through dancing, art, music stories, foods, holidays and traditions, customs and, of course, basic phrases in the Italian language in an exciting hands-on approach that will allow them to appreciate another culture and compare and contrast it to their own!

Da Vinci Week: Learning about the art, architecture, and contributions made during the Italian Renaissance.
Students recreate the Mona Lisa with water colors, recreate a Da Vinci self-supporting parabolic bridge-arch bridge, and try to crack the code in an Italian Renaissance Escape Room!
